GENERAL EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:

Machine Shop Work Shifts:
Day: Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Evening: Monday – Thursday 4:15 p.m. – 2:45 a.m.
Weekend: Fri., Sat., Sunday 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (paid for 40 hours)
Fabrication Shop Work Shifts:
Day: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Evening: Monday – Thursday 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Weekend: Fri., Sat., Sun. 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (paid for 40 hours)
Salary commensurate with qualifications.
WELDER - Evening Shift
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide welded parts or assemblies with a close tolerance.
- Perform precision welding using the Tig - Mig, welding processes.
- Responsible for the proper fit up, and welding of welded assemblies and sheet metal parts.
- Chck equipment for proper operation, safety and or needed maintenance.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection on welded parts or assemblies.
- Pass and maintain various welding certifications as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
High School graduation or GED plus 6 months TIG welding experience in a job shop. One additional year of relevant work experience may substitute for the required education with a maximum substitution of four years.

Manual Machinist (Night Shift – Machine Shop)
General Duties and Responsibilities
Perform manual machining and in process inspection as outlined by Athena Job Order Traveler, customer drawing, and/or quality requirements.
- Calculate and set machine DRO to position tools;
- Perform set-up and first piece / cut inspections;
- Mount, install, align and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and work pieces using hand tools and precision measuring instruments;
- Coordinate with department supervisor to ensure work scopes are accurately defined;
- Perform periodic maintenance to equipment in accordance with procedures;
- Accurately record set-up, run time and inspection operation;
- Handle material in accordance with procedures;
- Identify cost reduction and productivity improvement opportunities to supervisor;
- Maintain a clean work environment and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years experience. One year of experience may substitute for one year of education up to a maximum substitution of 4 years.
